Hey...

Over the past few months we (Kevin, Debi & Beth) have been suffering both physical and mental agonies to raise money for a wonderful organisation called Lifespace...

Lifespace offers mentoring and support for young people aged between 11-18 years to make their lives easier, healthier and happier. 

As you know Kevin successfully completed last year’s Stratford-upon-Avon Half Marathon. Despite good intentions Debi failed to get to the start line after injuring her ankle on the first official training run (the things some people do to get out of it...)

This year, however, training has been very successful and we are all on target for the run on 25th April 2010.

I (Beth) have been 'encouraged' to join the team, as apparently (so mum says) it will look good on my CV and will complete a module of my Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award.

All was well, until we had to start getting up on a Sunday morning at 6.30am, having to eat a bowl of porridge and a banana 'for energy', and then having to run 8 very long miles... and as if that wasn't enough... last Friday, the night after my 18th birthday party, we had to run 11.1 miles down the Greenway (after Dad convinced us it was only 10 miles) and back again just to earn a bacon buttie...

So please, please, please reward our pains by donating to Lifespace...
