Story

We are raising money for Melanoma Focus in memory of Brandusa.

Brandusa was diagnosed with melanoma one year ago and dealt with all that followed with incredible bravery and stoicism.

Brandusa joined Kingsley Napley from Taylor Wessing in 2015 as a senior associate and became a Partner in 2017. Brandusa was our first ever specialist, non-contentious construction lawyer.  In her time at KN, Brandusa developed our construction practice from scratch to become a successful and respected team in the industry.

Brandusa was dedicated to responsible business at Kingsley Napley, in particular her work on the Diversity and Inclusion committee and the various sub-groups.  Brandusa was a passionate advocate for D&I, working tirelessly to raise awareness of Diversity and Inclusion issues, and spearheading many of the changes and breakthroughs we have made at Kingsley Napley in this sphere.

A group of runners (from beginners to pro's) ran a half marathon/10km in September 2020 for Brandusa and in aid of Melanoma Focus and raised over £7000 (you will see from the historic donations).

Since Brandusa has passed away we have been inundated with messages from people throughout Brandusa's life asking if they can make donations in memory of Brandusa, our clever, wise, funny, beautiful, lovely and loving friend and colleague, beloved wife, mum, daughter and sister.

Melanoma Focus is a national charity dedicated to the needs of anyone affected by melanoma.
