Story

After emailing the Wolf Run and speaking to a lovely member of staff at the organisation, I am delighted to say that I will be running, falling and climbing 10km, to raise money for the National Autistic Society. I’ve requested that the funds I raise go direct to NAS Cymru/Wales. This is a personal request and nothing against the UK-wide organisation.

This organisation means a lot to me and my family, and has been a tremendous support to us all. The NAS offers so much help to ordinary people on the ground. I am a strong advocate of early diagnosis for autism after seeing the lifetime effects it can have on individuals and their families. I would also like to see more support given to adults with autism.

The Wolf Run isn’t just a case of me embarrassing myself, it’s also an opportunity to give something back. It’s an opportunity for me to show my appreciation to all of the incredible individuals on the autistic spectrum in Wales, and their families who fight tirelessly for what their loved ones deserve. These people don’t always get the recognition they need and deserve.

I’m not setting myself a donation target because any amount raised by the generosity of others is good enough for me.

I’d really appreciate any donation towards an organisation I hold very close to my heart. Feel free to share this with others.

Thank you. 😊
