Story
Stunting and malnutrition are pressing issues affecting 30-40% of children in West Timor and Sumba, Indonesia.
Stunting is the impaired growth and development of children and can be due to poor nutrition, repeated infection, and poor stimulation in the home.
Stunted growth in early life (conception to age 2 yrs old) can cause poor cognition and educational performance, low adult wages, leading to a cycle of poverty, illness and deprivation.
Your contributions will:
- Provide medical care, nutrition, and essential supplies to mothers and children in need.
- Support the training and education of healthcare workers and midwives.
- Improve access to clean water, sanitation, and hygiene
- Provide education and support for family planning and reproductive health
