This is the third year I am asking for your help raising much needed money for Crohns and Colitis UK.

Luckily I am currently in a healthy and stable state, thousands like me suffering with Crohns Disease or Colitis are not so fortunate.

When I was first diagnosed, I had no knowledge of this chronic and lifelong disease. How would I be affected? How would I live a normal life? What treatment options where there? And how were other people with this disease living.

This charity provided me with the insight, guidance, and ultimately support that helped me come to terms with the challenge ahead and the perspective of those already going through this and the outcomes they were getting.

It helped, hugely.

I've been fortunate enough to speak to a number of people who have since found themselves in that same situation I was in, and I'm amazed by how many more people are being diagnosed with this Disease across friends, colleagues and family.

With support and fund raising activities like this we are supporting Crohns and Colitis to continue providing the assistance that is so crucial and helpful when faced with a disease such as Crohns or Colitis; and I'm hopeful that we may one day in the future not just find better treatment but perhaps a cure.

Please join us at Farnham Royal Rubgy Club for my fundraising Touch Rugby Tournament. It has been brilliant the last two years - despite some unfriendly weather last year! And again we will have bouncy castle, BBQ and Bar and hopefully some other games for all the family too as well as the main rugby tournament.
