We provide social support to Scotland's Cystic Fibrosis Community

Story

On the 27th of May 2019 our beautiful baby Belle was born. She was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis at 3 weeks old.

Belle has had a very tough start in life which has of course been difficult for us all. She is an absolute warrior though and fills us with joy and such pride!

May is Cystic Fibrosis Month and so over the month we would like to help in raising awareness and raise funds for the fabulous charity, The Butterfly Trust!

I will be posting information on Cystic Fibrosis and Belles journey so far on my Instagram account.

On the 16th of May Belle’s big sister; Lacey Lou (age 8) will be doing a walk to help raise funds for The Butterfly Trust. Lacey’s walk will begin at Balmaha, over the Conic Hill and continue along to Drymen. We will stop for an energy top up before doubling back to Balmaha. This walk is approx. 15 miles in total however, we will say 10 miles minimum incase Lacey needs some time on daddies shoulders! Belle unfortunately will not be accompanying us on our walk due to her treatments routines and her difficulties.

We also have a small business that was created by Belles big sister Lacey Lou (then, age 7) to help raise funds for The Butterfly Trust. We are always trying to think of more ways to keep raising funds, raise awareness and support The Butterfly Trust.

The Butterfly Trust truly is an amazing charity that offer such a great support for people living with Cystic Fibrosis. I personally would be lost without them!

If you are not able to make a donation, please still share our link and help us on our mission!

** Update **

Little Belle is unfortunately in hospital again. Just to confirm our walk is still going ahead as planned and I will return to Belle afterwards.

Much love

Lainey, John, Lacey Lou and little Belle Mathieson
