We provide help and hope to everyone living with dementia.

Story

Ever since I was a teenager I have always wanted to run the London Marathon but like most things life just gets in the way. Five years ago my grandma was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, and whilst it has been a relatively slow decline, she is struggling right now, as are her family. Whilst she won’t be around for a cure, I’m hoping to raise as much money as possible, so other families don’t have to suffer this sometimes undignified disease.

Now may not be the most ideal time to train with a toddler and a job that starts super early, but it only makes the challenge even more worthwhile.

This is the only time I have ever (and probably will ever) ask for any money, please give as little or as much as you like to help me raise my ambitious target.

Thank you in advance! If you see me during my training please feel free to give me chocolate ;-)

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.
