This year, we wanted to achieve a challenge as a family and climbing Snowdon is definitely that, especially as both boys are asthmatic, both parents are terrified of heights and Becky is struggling with wearing the hiking boots ("have you seen them?!"). But we will do it as this time, we are supporting a small local charity - The Lily Foundation (www.thelilyfoundation.org.uk). This charity was set up in memory of a beautiful little baby girl Lily Anna Merritt who had a fatal mitochondrial disease. The scary thing about this disease is that it can affect anyone of us at anytime and as such, research and awareness are critical.

Please give whatever you can, however small - we are incredibly grateful.
