14 years ago Tiggy died instantly in a road crash just 2 weeks after her 7th birthday.  For her 7th birthday she wanted to raise money for Kids for kids.  

This year in July she would have been 21.

It feels right to try & raise more funds for this wonderful charity . 

So,  both Poppy & I today will be attempting a big challenge each.

I’ll start with my challenge & then will go onto Poppys much more exciting challenge!

Today I am attempting to swim the length of lake Woerthersee 17Km … without a wetsuit.  Training & the run up to this event have as usual been full of distractions & curveballs. 

I’ll carry Tiggy in my heart & memories with me on the adventure & her beloved sisters Poppy & Otalia in spirit as they are back in the UK.

Poppy has been through the mill health wise but after a recent 5 week stint in hospital & after some new treatment she has began to get the feeling back in her lower limbs … she had been unable to feel anything at all but now it is improving daily  which has also meant she has been able to start walking again for the first time in 2 & 1/2 years… 

She will be attempting to walk 210m using a walking frame &/or crutches 😁

Otalia will be our chief support as will Ben.
