On 3rd May 2022, my husband, Jim was rushed to hospital with pneumococcal meningitis. He was on life support in ICU for 5 days, where he received the most amazing care.   He came back home to us on 13th May after a fantastic revovery. He still has a lot of recovering to do, but without the wonderful care he received, he wouldn't be here with us.  The staff there are incredible and I'm doing a sponsored slim to raise money for the ICU/Critical Care.
