Story
Abbie (my daughter) and I are having our hair cut for charity. We want two charities to benefit from our hair cut that we have been growing in Lock Down. We are donating our cut hair to the Little Princess Trust and the funds we raise is for the Friends of Caroline Haslett Primary School. This past year fundraising has been so difficult. Abbie has been at CHPS for 6 wonderful years and her younger sister just 1 year. I have been a member of the Friends for 6 years and I have made friends for life.
It is really important that we raise funds for extra items that the school can't afford to pay for. We also hope that once restrictions lift we will be able to hold lots of social events for the children so that they can interact with their friends at out-of-school activities such as discos, fete and our favourite the Christmas Bazaar.
Any donation is greatly appreciated. Those who know me, are aware I have a terrible phobia of the hairdressers, so having a whopping 7 inches cut off is a real challenge and then to see Abbie do it too! (This is Abbie's second donation of hair, I cried the first time too, but it is for a great cause and grows back!)
