Story
The Early Birth Association (EBA) which helps babies and their families in the Special Care Baby Unit at the Princess Royal Hospital and Trevor Mann Baby Unit at the Royal Sussex County Hospital is calling for support.
Due to the unprecedented times from the threat of coronavirus, the number of visitors allowed on both baby units has been limited.
This has meant that some parents are unable to be with their babies during what is already an unimaginably difficult time.
The EBA is now calling out to members of the public who can help them fund five iPads across both units so parents can remain virtually in touch with their baby’s progress.
BEATS2BEAT COVID-19 - IPAD FUNDRAISER FOR TREVOR MANN BABY UNIT is set to raise £2100 if not more to purchase six new iPads. Each iPad is £349 each!
Visiting is currently minimised to two hours per day with only one parent visiting. The team The Trevor Mann Baby Unit are working tirelessly trying to share photos and videos of the babies with their parents.
Our idea if that if parents cant be physically with their new baby they can still remain virtually in touch.
DJ Adam Bang Tidy will be playing an eight hour marathon set from 2pm - 10pm on Sunday 12th April 2020. Expect movers, groovers, Grandad dancing to keep your spirits up while you're corona alone.
Every penny raised will be donated to the Special Care Baby Units in Brighton and Haywards Heath!
