The Middlesbrough and Teesside Philanthropic Foundation have a number of caravans that enable some of Teesside’s most disadvantaged families to have a well deserved short break. 

More recently, in partnership, with the Finley Cooper fund they were able to increase their capacity and enable those families who have a member with a physical disability to also have a short break in their accessible caravan.

The caravan park has a long steep ramp to the beach.which has a short area of rougher ground before you reach the beautiful sandy beach. 

I would like to raise enough to buy a Hippocampe Beach Wheelchair & lockable storage box, for use of the families at the caravan, so they can make the most of their short break.

I know this is a difficult time for many of you so please only donate if you are able. I will also be selling items (which gift aid can’t be claimed on) and hopefully will be able to take part in an event (covid restriction allowing). I am fortunate to be able to access many beaches and I love the feeling it gives me - I want to do my small part to offer others this opportunity and crest happy memories.
