My Mam, Joyce, battle with Stomach Cancer has ended, for which she fought as hard as anyone could try. Her zest for life and helping others so selflessly, never seeking or expecting anything in return, makes us all so proud.

She lived life to the full, and for many years after retiring from work she supported me as often as she could in my wool shop Ring a Rosie in Whitley Bay, making many more new friends along the way.

She was given her wish of a peaceful and dignified end to her life at Marie Curie Hospice in Newcastle. The Doctors and Staff provide the most caring and considerate support to her and our family, and would like donations to support the wonderful work they do.
