Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Our beloved mum, Dorothea lived to the grand old age of 93 before passing away recently, having lived life to the full (as you can see in the photo)!

Sadly, due to the current restrictions, our wider family and mum's lovely friends are unable to attend her funeral. Under the circumstances we would suggest that anyone wishing to send flowers, consider making a donation to charity in memory of Dorothea instead.

Any monies donated will go directly to Tapestry Care UK (also known as Age Concern Havering). They are an amazing charity working to improve the quality of life of older people in Havering; helping them to stay in their own homes, maximise their potential and live fulfilling and enjoyable lives.   For many years they provided mum with a safe, welcoming  place to visit and socialise, where she made many friends.  They were also very supportive of mum and our family in the last years of mum's life.

Thank you in advance for your kind donations.
