We want to lose 100kg whilst raising money for Creating Better Futures. We are using this time to get fit and make a difference!
BNI Reading Central have set up the Shape Shifters Challenge. Coronavirus and lockdown have reminded us all how important it is to keep fit. Creating Better Futures have been there for hundreds of disadvantaged children and families through the coronavirus. We want to help them and get fit while we do it!
Our amazing team is made up of: Nicola Kenworthy, Fiona Jones, Phil Johnson, Chris Gallimore, Shahzad Niazi, Daniel Dennis, Jo Ginger, Victoria Hormigo and Anthony Young! Make sure you leave a comment on our page to encourage them!
Creating Better Futures use education to lift vulnerable children and orphans in Zimbabwe out of poverty. They are now helping disadvantaged children that have been impacted by the Coronavirus.
- Unprecedented drought has led to poor harvests, causing huge price increases and food shortages.
- Lockdown has made this worse as people can't leave their homes to earn money. 5.5 million people now risk starving.
- Education, seen as the route out of poverty, has been suspended as schools have closed.
They need your help to keep the UK team working so they can focus on fundraising whist the Zimbabwe team can deliver on the ground.
We must continue to support the children who are most in need. Together we can make a tangible difference. Thank you for your support.
If you are a UK taxpayer please don't forget to gift aid!
