Story
As an office we have decided to support Leicester Charity Link and will be getting involved in various fundraising activities throughout the year.
On the 7 October we held our Annual Conkers Tournament, raising an amazing £2,310. Thank you to all those who took part!
On 18 September, we are sending a team to complete the Leicestershire 3 Peaks challenge, this involves scaling 3 of Leicestershire's highest peaks, namely Bardon Hill (88ft short of a Mountain), Old John and Beacon Hill. In total the team will trek 16 miles across the Leicestershire countryside.
In June, as part of the annual Brewin Dolphin 7 day challenge, we as an office, kept cycling for a whole week. We set up a bike in the office and each took turns completing slots throughout the week to ensure the wheels keep turning from first thing Monday until the close of play Friday.
As an office we recently contributed a hamper of locally sourced goods to a national Brewin Dolphin raffle. Tickets cost £5 each and the raffle will close on the 6th May with the draw taking place the following week. Further detail can be found on the poster in the media section of our page.
For our second challenge we are sending a team to complete the Leicestershire 3 Peaks Challenge on Sunday 26th September. This is a 16 mile trek taking in some of the East Midlands most stunning landscapes and conquering the three peaks (Beacon Hill, Bardon Hill and Old John Tower).
Our first challenge was the Brewin Dolphin 7 Day Challenge - 'The Road to Wembley' this involved us walking/running/cycling the route Leicester City took to their historic first FA Cup title at Wembley this year. Our route took us from Leicester to Wembley via Stoke, Brentford, Brighton, Manchester and Southampton for a total of 1,210km.
