Liz's contribution to Aylesbury Green Park Sub Aqua Club was huge and stretched over more than thirty years.

She was an advanced diver, open water instructor, snorkel instructor, lifeguard and first aid instructor and our friend.

She was always ready to help with whatever needed doing, stepping in at the last minute to act as lifeguard or to instruct in the pool. She was always cheerful and especially kindly to nervous divers. She was always a pleasure to dive with being patient and relaxed and, of course pink! She loved her trips to Malta and Gozo as well as the south coast.

We were immensely proud when she awarded an MBE in the 2020 Queens Birthday Honours List for her contribution to swimming in Wendover, which she had supported for many years.
