Story

Dear friends,

I am visiting the Embu Rescue Centre in Kenya at the end of the month, a centre that daily feeds 100+ kids and families from nearby slums. The centre does amazing and important work for the community, but due to Covid they're currently facing even more difficult challenges and need all the help they can get.

That's why I have decided that for my 30th birthday I will only accept gifts in the form of donations to the Moving Mountains Trust, the charity running the Embu Rescue Centre.

Every little bit helps, and even £5 will make a difference. To put things in perspective, donating £30 will feed all the 100+ kids with their balanced meal of the day! It also includes soap and water so they can wash themselves. If we reach the target on this page we will have supported the centre financially for a whole month!

All the money will go directly to feeding the kids. And just think about how good your karma will be in 2021!

Thank you so much for donating.

Lots of love, Astrid.
