On the 17th April 2011, I'll be running the London Marathon in aid of Families Need Fathers. I'll be dressed as Buzz Lightyear - if you've seen Toy Story 2, you'll know why - and I'm hoping to raise lots of money!

I have personal experience of a family breakdown and I have seen the effects that losing contact with a parent can have on children. It causes much pain and sadness and can have devastating effects.

Families Need Fathers is a charity that helps people through these difficult times. They believe that children have the right to a continuing, loving relationship with both parents, and that shared parenting should be encouraged. I absolutely believe in this philosophy too. Children have the right to a happy, loving relationship with both parents without prejudice.

So if you believe in the love and sanctity of the family unit, then please sponsor me and help Familes Need Fathers protect the interests of parents - and above all - the rights of children.
