Story

In October 2010 Ashley was cycling through the Peak District with friends when he suffered a heart attack. Mountain rescue were first on the scene and then he was taken to Sheffield Hospital by Air Ambulance which saved his life and gave us 9 more amazing years.

Every day of the year, your local air ambulance (Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland) is helping save more lives. Our critical care paramedics, doctors and pilots attend an average of five rescue missions a day. We receive no government funding for our daily missions. Your support keeps us flying.
