At the ripe old age of 27 Iam currently battling melanoma, I would love nothing more than to raise some money for this fantastic charity who are supporting me through my fight. I have been very silly & neglectful through my time when it comes to skin care in the sun, unfortunately iam now paying that price. Iam stubborn & determined & I know this battle is going in my favour. I just hope by the time 2016 comes I receive the all clear. I have some fundraising ideas up my sleeve for various times through the year. I will keep you all updated. As you can see I have set a target of £0.00 some May be asking why ... I simply do not have a target to reach, I will be and iam grateful for any donation that is being put forward. Melanoma UK was set up in 2007 in memory of Jon Herron. They support patients and families affected by melanoma (skin cancer) and the funds raised, help to provide that support. The funding is for much needed melanoma nurses along with help in vital research. Melanoma is a cruel disease, still without a cure.
