Humanity & Inclusion is an independent charity working in situations of poverty and exclusion, conflict and disaster.
They work tirelessly alongside disabled and vulnerable people to help meet their basic needs, improve living conditions and promote respect for their dignity and fundamental rights. H & I supported millions of people around the world, providing rehabilitation, artificial limbs, inclusion activities and psychological assistance.
Most recently, the people in Pakistan were hit by an unimaginable disaster. Monsoon rains and devastating flash flooding have left more than one-third of Pakistan completely submerged. 6.4 million people are in need of urgent assistance and millions are struggling to survive without food, shelter or drinking water.
Approximately 33 milllion people have been impacted by the torrential rainfall, which has destroyed over 287,000 homes and damaged another 662,000, displacing a huge number of families.
There has been widespread damage to infrastructure including over 17,000 schools, several thousand health facilities, 3,500km of roads and more than 145 bridges.
