Story

Armagh AC ran this event last year due to the surge in violence against women during the pandemic. Since then there has been 10 more domestic murders in Northern Ireland. Everyone on the Island of Ireland has recently been horrified by the senseless murder of Aishling Murphy while going for a run at 4pm on a towpath. It highlighted to everyone the continuing problem of violence against women

In recent days we have also seen a number of attacks against woman. This may not have resulted in a murder but still has a profound effect on the victim.

We again will be running 4 miles every 4hrs for 48hrs starting at 18:00hrs on the 4th of March. Please come and join us or get a group in your area to take part. Cycle, run or walk you may not be able to do it all but take a stand and support this effort. Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
