Rainforests are among Mother Earth's most magnificent and precious wonders, yet they are under threat every day. 

Logging companies and contractors constantly tear down large chunks of rainforest for timber and land. This causes the destruction of tree's that are thousands of years old, as well as rare and endangered species of plants and animals which without the rainforest would have no where to live, and therefore become extinct, unable to live anywhere else. 

This September 2013 I will be climbing Mount Toubkal in the Atlas Mountains (Morocco), which is the highest mountain in North Africa! It will be a 3 day trek to the summit and back, and im trying to get as many people to sponsor me as I can, so i can raise as much as possible for the rainforest foundation, which as you read is one of the most worthwile causes out there.

If you spare some money for my trek, you would be donating to the Rainforest Foundation, which fights for forest communities, challenges logging rights and campaigns for international laws in more than 20 countries across Africa, Asia and South America to protect these precious places on Earth!
