Darul Ummah literally means The House of the Community. Ever since 1997, Darul Ummah has been the home to many pioneering educational projects, dawah initiatives, youth and recreational activities, and it has been a place of spiritual solace and upliftment for the entire community.
In the face of global coronavirus pandemic, sadly the Masjid had to close its physical door to the public. However, services are continuing via online platforms. Volunteers are active in delivering essential food and support to those in most need.
The lockdown has led to an immense pressure on Masjid finances. Alhamdulillah, the Masjid has undertaken an initiative to completely renovate the Sisters' Prayer Facilities for £35,000. For next 3 months, Masjid has £17,750 fixed cost in wages, utilities and maintenance.
In this blessed month of Ramadan, when the reward is multiplied, please help the House of Allah. May Allah bless you and your loved ones with abundance of wealth, prosperity and peace. Ameen
