Story
You may remember Luke Hope our fantastic apprentice for winning a special recognition award at ABP Knight of Knights.
For those who don't Luke was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia, (ALL) in October 2018, the day before his 18th birthday. Following six months of intensive chemotherapy, Luke was in remission for nine months.
Unfortunately in February 2020 he relapsed, culminating in the loss of sight in his right eye and he now requires a lifesaving bone marrow stem cell transplant.
Luke urgently needs to find a life saving donor as the stem cell transplant is his only hope. DKMS UK, are one of the organisations that run a collaborative register for stem cell donors. They have recently started a campaign for Luke, looking for a donor for him, and others, as well as raising much needed funds for the charity.
We are kindly asking all our direct and indirect connections to help Luke in his fight by joining the donor list or making a donation.
