Story
In March 2021 I travelled with my father, Babar Saddiq to Tharpakar Pakistan. Having travelled the world with him on family holidays in the past, aside from Umrah, this was definitely the most eye opening trip of my life. Tharpakar is one of the largest deserts in the world and only 10% of its 1.6m population have access to clean water.
What I witnessed with live with me forever and make me grateful for everything I have and don't have. I saw young children and women walking 5km a day to collect water.
Through the Anzal Begum Foundation, set up in my late grandmother's name I am raising money to build a solar powered water plant. The plant will provide over 1000 people with water daily.
The cost of this well is £20,000 so I need 200 people to donate £100 each. Please donate as much as you can.
