We are immensely grateful for all the kind words, wishes and support you have given us all during this extremely difficult time.

Everyone that met my Dad, knew what a charismatic man he truly was. Unfortunately, in early 2021, he was diagnosed with a rare and fatal neurodegenerative disorder called Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease (CJD). Once diagnosed, the life expentancy is expected to be between 6-12 months, but being the hero and fighter that my Dad truly was he proved the specialists wrong and survived beyond 20 months. Our very own superhero!

The CJD Support Network is the only UK charity providing emotional and practical support for all strains of CJD and for those who are at greater risk of CJD.

During the last year, we were all grateful to have spent as much quality time with Dad as possible - from celebrating his 60th, to going to the cinema one final time and having music nights with all his family & friends around him.

Sadly, on 20th December 2022, our superhero stopped fighting and peacefully passed away with all his close family and friends by his side.
