So the 50 in 50 is done and thanks to you guys we've raised enough not for one but for SEVEN toilet blocks (plus an individual toilet).

Thank you so much for all of the encouragement and support and for generously making a difference to the lives of others.

I'd love to say I'm having a rest but sadly no .... and here's to the next "venture" - whenever it may be and whatever it may be for.

It's 2021 and staggeringly there are still billions of people around the world with no safe or half-clean place to go to the loo.  

Toilet Twinning is a UK based charity helping to transform lives in some of the poorest places on the planet by providing safe places to go to the toilet. Vulnerable households not only help build their own loo but learn about the importance of sanitation and hygiene; gain access to clean water; enjoy better health - and take a massive step out of generational poverty.

I want to raise £240 to provide a toilet block in one of these dreadfully poor places and - in need of a bit of motivation - have given myself a "Lent-plus, Going the Distance" challenge to run every day for 50 days up to Easter....along the way I will include in this challenge a minimum of 150 miles in total and 20 miles each week - but it's the running for the loo every day for 50 days that  is the real challenge. 

If anyone is willing to help with this then I am very very grateful - and I will also help along the way by putting in 50p for every mile I cover (on a weekly basis).
