On a beautiful sunny morning, June 17th, 2019, my amazing dad, Tom O'Connor, sadly passed away surrounded by his extended family in the wonderful care of Milford Care Centre, Limerick. Following our tremendous loss, I made a promise that I would run the Great Limerick Marathon in 2020 in his honour and to raise funds for this amazing Care Centre. Little did we know that a year later, we would find ourselves in these extraordinary circumstances and alas, the Great Limerick Run in May 2020 is not to be.
Nonetheless, promises are promises and in its place my marathon has been relocated to take place on my lawn on May 3rd. Please donate to this very worthy cause if you can.
