Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I’ll be running the Bristol 10k on May 15th 2011 and am aiming to raise as much money as possible for the National Association for Colitis and Crohn’s Disease (NACC) . This is a huge challenge for me as I am the laziest person going!
The reason for me doing this is my younger brother, Colin. Colin was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease at the age of 18 and has undergone 4 operations, one of them being life saving. So this charity is very close to my heart and I hope by raising some money for them less people will need to suffer the way Colin has done.
Crohns Disease causes inflammation, deep ulcers and scarring to the wall of the intestine. The disease affects approximately 60,000 people in the UK, there is no cure. For further information about the disease and the work the NACC do on a daily basis please visit www.nacc.org.uk
My brother is my inspiration but your donations are my motivation! Please give as much as you can, every penny really does help this charity!
Thank you in advance for your support.
Anne-Marie :-) xx
