Story
I was signed off sick from work with stress in the first week of term,
only shortly after making (arguably too late!) the sad decision to leave
the teaching profession. So, instead of sitting and festering
in my tiny Manchester city centre flat, I decided to go and visit my mum
in a suburb of London for a few days. Get a change of scenery, a bit of
fresh air, soak up some green space... Well, it turns out they don't
like you taking bikes on Megabus.
I only recently found about about the Teacher Support network, but maybe if I'd found them sooner...
I don't think a pound a mile is an unreasonable fund raising target for a last minute, spur of the moment crazy 'let's turn this lunacy into something positive' plan, do you?
