Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Running is my great passion and I do marathons on a regular basis (aim for two per year, plus half marathons/ 10k races). When I go through a bad patch during a marathon, I try to think about why I am here and what I came for. You've got to tell yourself that you've done the training and you can handle it. Think of those beastly training days you've put yourself through. Once you cross the finish line, it was all worth it.
"One run can change your day, many runs can change your life."
-Unknown.
However, my motivation for running goes beyond overcoming my own limits. I couldn't be happier if I could help changing other people's life with my running. I have seen relatives and friends being caught by serious diseases that have changed lives from one day to another, destroyed hopes and dreams, and sidelined them from the active life they love. Therefore, I decided to dedicate my running to those who can’t do it themselves and are in need for help. Cancer Research (CR) has gone a long way to save many lives already.
Thanks to research, more people are beating cancer than ever before.
• In the 1970s, only a quarter of people survived.
• Today, more than half will survive for at least ten years.

CR needs and deserves our support, on behalf of many cancer victims. Who knows whether you and I might need them desperately one day?
If you like my sports and dedication and could spare a quid or two, your contribution is massively appreciated.
Nothing is impossible. Don't you ever give up ...ever!
