Anna was a philanthropist, who throughout her lifetime supported refugees and was a firm advocate of human rights, and as such, in her time as Mayor of Islington, she chose Room to Heal as one of her two Mayoral charities.

Room to Heal is an Islington based healing community offering support and refuge to people who have had to flee persecution, torture and indefinite detention.

We believe that it would have been Anna's wish to continue to support Freedom from Torture and we thank-you for your contributions as a tribute to her memory.
