Story
Dear Friends and Family!
This August, I will be participating in Help Us Help’s Second Annual Move-A-Thon in support of Help Us Help Charity, which has been near and dear to my heart for many years! My goal is to raise $5,000 to provide support for Ukraine’s vulnerable children, the future of Ukraine.
Today, there are an estimated 106,000 children living in 750 orphanages and residential institutions across Ukraine. This figure does not include those displaced as a result of the current conflict in the East. Since 1993, Help Us Help’s mission has been to improve the quality of life and health of Ukraine’s disadvantaged children and create opportunities that allow them to realize their full potential, reach new heights, and inspire them to become productive members of Ukrainian society.
I have organized a wonderful team of volunteers composed of young professionals, donors, sponsors, and our very own HUH Alumni.
In honor of the 30th Anniversary of Ukraine’s Independence, my team’s goal is to accomplish a range of 30 activities in Ukraine by the end of August. As team captain, I will be providing daily updates on the completed activities via Facebook. The activities include tennis, yoga, running, swimming, hiking, and much more!
Be sure to follow our Move-A-Thon journey and support our team by making a donation today!
Your contribution is imperative to the implementation of alternative programs that support our various projects and programs for Ukraine’s children, scholars, and veterans.
With each donation Help Us Help receives, we become all that much closer to our goal of making a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable populations in Ukraine.
