Story

Hi,

MUST READ - (1 min read)

Not many charities are run (in my eyes) correctly - this however is one of them. The lesser well known charities (who don't spend millions on advertising and celebrity endorsements) need our/your help!

Stickler Syndrome Group rely on Volunteers, unpaid Trustees & Directors, so that MORE of the money raised goes to support those in need.

So, amongst a few challenges in the next 12 months, I am running the London Marathon 2024 for the Stickler Syndrome Charity

Who are Stickler Syndrome? Well, first of all work locally in the genetics department of Addenbrookes, Cambridge.

They deal with a number of hereditary disorders of the connective tissue that causes problems with:

- vision,
- hearing,
- joint abnormalities
- facial abnormalities (such as cleft lip)

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and effective and allows this small charity to continue the great work.
