I signed up for the Legion's Pedal to Paris last year (2013), but had to withdraw when I was unexpectedly diagnosed with a rare type of leukaemia.  Following chemotherapy I am now in remission, and have already cycled more than half the length of the UK in the past 8 months to raise money for leukaemia research.  Now I'm determined to finish what I started last year and complete the ride from London to Paris.  As President of the West Felton Branch of the Legion, I can see the good work that the Legion does for our veterans and their dependants - I want to help them carry on delivering support,
