We stand for everyone affected by dementia to find a cure

Story

So, I was just going to run this for a bit of 'fun' and I hadn't really thought of raising money for charity. Then, my girlfriend Heather suggested to me it would be a great opportunity to a bit of good for a worthwhile cuase. She was right! It will also make the cold, winter, evening runs in the rain alot more meaningful and motivational.

Alzheimer's disease is the most common type of dementia, affecting an estimated 850,000 people in the UK. By 2040 that number is expected to rise to over 1.5 million. That’s why every minute of research is so important. Because only research will defeat dementia and stop it destroying so many lives.

I would be extremely greatful if you could give as much as you can afford for this great cause!
