Andriy Mnih is raising money for Ukraine Charity

Supporting Hospitallers · 24 August 2022

Ukraine Charity was established in the UK by volunteers in 2007 to support disadvantaged children and young adults in Ukraine. Since full-scale Russia`s invasion in February 2022, Ukraine Charity is also fundraising for emergency medical supplies to be delivered to Ukraine.

Story

Today, August 24 2022, is a special day for Ukraine. It's both Independence Day and the day marking six months since the start of the Russian invasion. The war is far from over however, and there will be no Independence Day celebration in the streets of Kyiv today due to the expected intensification of Russian strikes.

Many of us have donated to help Ukraine, but the flow of donations has slowed down over the last few months, while the war unfortunately has not. So to mark Ukraine's Independence Day, I am fundraising for Hospitallers, a Ukrainian volunteer paramedic organization working to save lives at the front lines. You can learn more about them here. They need funds for medical supplies, medical equipment, ambulances, and so on. I will match all the donations up to the total of 8000 GBP. If it's an option, please consider using your employer's donation matching and gift aid to maximize your contribution. In the UK, Ukraine Charity collects donations for Hospitallers, which is why this fundraiser is in their name.

You can make a difference. Thank you!
