In May 2012 whilst out cycling in Warwickshire i was hit by a 4x4 motor vehicle causing me to permanently lose the use of both legs and my left arm. Prior to my accident i was very active playing tennis,  golf as well as cycling and hill walking.Now I am getting use to living my life in a wheelchair. I am lucky that I have many supportive friends and an amazing family and one day I hope to climb mountains again in a specially adapted wheelchair, for which I am now raising money.
