Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am running the London Marathon to raise awareness of the great work carried out by the Retail Trust and in memory of Mr Anthony Power, founder and inspirational leader of Panache Lingerie.  Mr Power died in October last year after being savagely attacked in a Sheffield Park.  He was a regular churchgoer and was dedicated to his family and a number of charitable causes.  He touched all those who came into contact with him both personally and within the business community.

Panache is now an international lingerie brand employing 170 people in 4 countries.  Its products are sold worldwide.  Its success today is down to the motivational leadership of Mr Power from the company's beginning to him handing over the reigns to his son, John Power, 8 years ago.

Retail Trust is the only charity that looks after the needs of all three million people working in retail. They offer a range of services including free counselling, free legal advice, free debt advice, free hardship grants, free course funding and retirement housing throughout the UK.
