Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am undertaking the 35th Orwell Sponsored Charity Walk organised by The Rotary Club of Ipswich East on Sunday 26th June 2011. This is a gruelling 11 mile walk which apparently will still go ahead even if it is raining. I must admit I did not know this when I first agreed to enter and you would think it would be easy to pull out but apparently no, it isn't.

25% of funds raised goes to The Rotary Club of Ipswich East and the remaining 75% goes to the NSPCC which is then matched £ for £ by Barclays! Having two children (at least) myself, children have always been an important part of my life. In fact in my early years I was a child myself although sadly as time has marched on relentlessly I have let this lapse and am now a young adult.

Help me to raise as much as possible for the NSPCC and get as much as possible from the £ for £ matched funding from Barclays.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now. Do it for the kids (and The Rotary club of Ipswich East).
