I'm joining HCA to celebrate 101 years of community activity on the site of Holborn House by taking part in their 101 fundraising challenges.  

HCA do amazing things for the local community in Holborn, but like most place-based charities they have been hit hard by COVID to bring back the income they rely on to function like venue hire.  They've also been grappling with rising venue costs and an increasingly challenging fundraising climate.  

They want to continue to run free movement activities for the local community in 2022 but need to raise £10,001 to bridge the gap. 

My challenge will be cycling from our redeveloped Holborn House community centre towards my home in Essex, a commute of 42 miles (which I usually let the train take the strain) and see how far I get in 101 minutes.
