Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Dr Drew Armstrong, or Dad as we prefer to call him, was a passionate hillwalker all of his life and was an active member of the Moffat Mountain Rescue Team for over 30 years.

One of his more memorable hillwalking exploits was climbing all the Corbetts (hills above 2500 feet) in the south of Scotland in a weekend with some of his medical colleagues. We'd like to remember him by  raising funds for the Moffat Mountain Rescue Team through climbing all 7 Corbetts either alone or with friends and family by the end of September 2021.

The MRT are currently trying to raise £70,000 to invest in the latest life-saving search and control vehicle and equipment. We'd be very grateful for any support that you can give to help towards that target.

Andrew, Chris and Heather.
