I know I said i'd never do it again but here I go...I must be mad to tackle another marathon not sure my toes will survive it but anyway its all for a great cause and this time I am raising money for Marie Curie Cancer Care!!! 

 

Marie Curie provide care to terminally ill patients in their own homes or in the hospices, while offering support to their families.  The care they provide is free of charge and available to anyone with a terminal illness, not just cancer.  They put patients and families first!!  As a world leader in researching better ways to care for patients at the end of life, they also campaign for better end of life care in Northern Ireland. In particular, they believe that everyone should have the choice to die at home.  They need to raise more than £5 million per year to fund the hospice and nursing care just in Northern Ireland alone.

 

Every £20 raised in sponsorship will provide ONE hour of crucial nursing care for someone.  As many of you know this is a charity close to my heart as my mum used to be a nurse here and I spent many day at the hospice as a youngster - the work they do is incredible so please dig deep and donate now!!
