Story
So I have signed up to walk 1000 miles in 2020. This is the 4th year I have done the challenge....
2017 I raised money for cystic fibrosis, my niece has this awful disease 😞
2018 I raised money for uk sepsis trust, sepsis killed my beautiful sister in law 😞
2019 I raised money for MAS
So this year I decided to donate to schnauzerfest 🧡🐾 especially as the girls accompany me on the majority of walks and with Naya being a puppy farm survivor 🧡
I know some people count every step they take until they hit the 1000 miles but I have always chosen to do ‘boots on’ walks (outside walks) which I record on an app.
Money is a bit tight so have chosen to donate £10 for every 100 miles walked, which is 10p a mile.
If people want to donate that’s fantastic, if they also want to sign up that’s great too, just trying to raise money for worthy causes whilst keeping active and raise awareness.
Schnauzerfest raises money to pay for the veterinary care needed by dogs saved from puppy farms & other bad backgrounds. Schnauzerfest funds restore the eyesight of dogs blinded by cataracts, as well as paying for other specialist treatment. Supporting Schnauzerfest means vital rescue work is made possible and dogs lives are transformed.
