We sadly lost our Ian, our dad, son, fiancé, grandad, this July after a long illness. He, and the Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital did everything they could for as long as they could to keep him with us, and so we’d like to raise some money for their wonderful facility in memory of our Ian. Our absolute world. 

We are devastated beyond words to be without him and he’s left such a huge hole in our lives and our hearts. We want to spend some time together, remembering him in a way that he loved. He loved to be outdoors and went on many adventures during his life. 

As a family, his mum, fiancé, two daughters, two sons-in law and two granddaughters will be walking a marathon, over a series of challenges. Some will be longer and flatter, some will be uphill, but all will be a challenge for our party ranging in age from 1-74. 

Each time we complete a challenge we will update you on here and on our facebook pages with a map of the walk and the amount of miles we’ve done so far, until we reach our target of 26.2 miles! 

Thank you so much to the many of you contributed to our fundraising at his wake, those of you who weren’t able to attend we hoped you might like to join us in honouring his memory and helping the heart & chest hospital carry on their unbelievable work.
