In memory of Amy Murphy
We teach girls to code to close the gender gap in technology

Story

Amy Murphy came to Deloitte from the Sparta academy as an SRE. She passed away suddenly on August 28th, aged 21. Her team leads worked closely with her and shared these words:

Amy joined last year and fit right in. She was hard-working and talented, and that reflected in her work. She was kind and thoughtful, with a positive demeanour. We all agree she was pleasure to work with and we’re grateful of the memories we built working with her. Her positive outlook will remain with us all.

She had signed up for the project team triathlon, to take place the 25th September. In her memory, we would like fundraise in the event she should have undertaken.

She left a mark on the people she worked with and we would like to make a tribute to her pride in her work as a woman in STEM.
