Can you help us raise funds to help pay for behaviourist training for Hector, to help with his anxiety?
You may remember Hectors story last summer, after he was found tied up to the main gates outside our Animal Centre in East Ardsley. He was tied so tightly that he couldnt move, and it took three people to untangle him. Understandably, Hector was extremely anxious and it took quite some time after this for him to come close to anybody, so we had to gradually gain his trust.
His trust and confidence has grown enormously since his arrival at the centre, however he still can become very anxious at times, especially around new people. He can be weary around people he doesnt know and it can take time for him to get to know you. Traffic can also worry him, especially large vehicles.
Our staff at the Animal Centre have been fantastic with his training, which is evident from how much he has improved since being in our care, but now we feel he needs some more training from a professional
